I Logged Off LinkedIn for 3 Weeks—here’s what happened

I was on vacation, spending time with my family. Those two weeks were precious, time that we rarely get.

I had a decision to make: stay active on LinkedIn: post, scroll, comment, stay “visible”—or fully unplug.

I chose to PAUSE. And I extended it to shake off the jet lag, and felt like me again.

Sure, I risked a few things, maybe:

  • My follower count dropped.
  • I missed some interesting news / ideas.
  • I slipped out of the ‘algorithm’s good books.’

But here’s the thing: none of that matters as I gained

✅ Deep connection with my family

✅ A refreshed mind and body

✅ A break from the hustle loop

Last week, I ran a poll: 70% of people said they have taken break from LinkedIn anywherebetween from two weeks to three months.

You don’t have to be “on” all the time. Visibility is great! However, in this world of digital noise, unplugging can be a power move.

If you’ve been feeling burnt out, distracted, or just… over it—step away. For a weekend. A week. A month. Whatever you need.

The feed will still be there!

Look forward to hearing your story of digital break
