Small steps…

“I don’t get to exercise much…” I thought one day.

“On average I manage to go for a walk about 2.5 kilometres in 35 minutes, four times a week.”

“Is it enough? Shouldn’t I be doing more?”

I was almost self-deprecating, when I realized how wrong I was.

I did a quick math. My little exercise, added up to:

  • 10 kms a week.

  • Which meant 520 kms a year—and I do hit 5 days some weeks, guess I could make it 550 kms in a year!
  • And 7,280 minutes, or over 120 hours a year.

I smiled! That’s definitely not “nothing.”

That’s consistency and momentum.

And over time, that’s impact—not just on physical health, but on clarity, energy, and even mood.

The truth is, no action taken in the right direction is ever a waste.

Even when it feels small. Especially when it feels small.

Because when you zoom out, those little steps become a path. And often, a remarkable one.

So, what’s your small step today? And how might it shape your tomorrow?
